Creating Art

To be able to read the language of form is to be able to learn the secret of the universe. The paintings are abstraction, a conscious effort to explore the unknown & the unknowable. Streaks of light in the distant horizon signify the manifestation of the universal soul, the supreme principal that governs the cosmos. The supreme source of energy - Shiva - the bestower of all.

SHIVOHAM-I am the Shiva who dwells everywhere. Shiva- The living God transcends all categories. He is existence with all its paradoxes. Beyond existence, He is the indefinable.

I owe, much more than words can express to the Sanskrit chants, from “Nirvana Shatakam” by Adi Shankaracharya.
Bold though the colors may be, they fall in silent harmony, emphasizing what seems to be the search to emanate a sense of inner space. The purpose is to search for the whole truth within
The series here is an offering to Shiva, the embodiment of pure consciousness, knowledge, innocence and bliss and to everyone, especially to those who look to the growing realm of silence and joy within themselves.

The circle that I’ve used symbolizes the potential of all life. The black space and the vibrating vermilion are depicted as force of energy. Which take one from darkness to light. These are tangible inspired moments in the glowing hot orange, exploding into a thousand radiant forms. The paintings are abstraction, a conscious effort to explore the unknown and the unknowable. Streaks of light in the distant horizon signify the manifestation of the universal soul, the supreme principal that governs the cosmos.

Sacred Sanskrit chants from Nirvana Shatkam by His Holiness Adi Sanskaracharya. --- Chidanandaroopa Shivoham. Shivoham
I am neither the mind, the intellect , the ego, the mind substance, nor the ears, nose, tongue, and eyes. Nor am I the ether, the earth the luster and the air. I am the embodiment of consciousness and ecstasy of joy i.e. lord Shiva-the bestower of all.

I am neither the life –force (prana) and consciousness manifested, five air nor seven body matter, or five sheathes or speech organ and feet, anus or genital organs. I am lord Shiva-the benefactor of the bliss and consciousness.

Neither do I posses enmity and amity nor greed and infatuation. Ego is not within me nor do I envy. I’m no religion and riches or desire and salvation. I am verily lord Shiva-the philanthropist, the embodiment of consciousness and bliss.

I am no virtue nor sin and pleasure or pain, nor I am holy name and pilgrim, nor Vedas or sacrifice. I am not the food-stuff or the eatable or the consumer but I am lord Shiva-the protector, the embodiment of consciousness and bliss.

I am neither death nor do I posses doubt and caste-difference. Nor do I have mother- father or birth, brother , friends , preceptor, or disciple, but I am lord Shiva-the benefactor of the bliss and consciousness.

I am formless, attribute less and unmanifested. I have all pervading energy of sense organs. I am not unattached, or seeker of salvation or salvation itself. But I am lord Shiva- the embodiment of the bliss and consciousness.
